The Hybrid Barber 1A program is the perfect blend of online and in-person training. Our Hybrid Barber 1A program aims to provide you with the right tools and skills to assist you in making this a successful career.  With the right attitude and some dedication, top barbers are more than capable of earning six figure salaries.  Our students are able to witness the industry daily through our barber instructors and in house barber shop.  Receive training from industry professionals, with years of professional experience.

Training consists of learning how to use the straight razor, proper blending techniques (with clippers and shears), proper ways to do line-ups, cutting all hair types, hair styling, adjusting of clippers (zero gapping), state board preparation, as well as clientele building.

• A minimum enrollment deposit of $1,250 is required to reserve your spot in the program! Enrollment Deposits are due at the time of enrollment. 

• ZERO INTEREST payment plans.

• Remaining balance is paid off monthly.

• Custom payment plans up to 22 months.

TOOLS/BOOKS

• Text book included. 

• Tools/equipment are not included. 

• We will provide you with a list of tools to purchase, and where to purchase these tools for the best price.

• Depending on what you choose to purchase from our recommended list, the tools can range from $400-$700. 

• If you already have your own tools, you are not required to purchase any of the tools we recommend. 

HOURS

A total of 1,000 hours must be completed to graduate, and a minimum of 15 in-person hours must be completed per week. The 15 in-person hours can be accumulated at anytime within the day or night class hours. Theory hours can be completed from home, at your own pace.

• 750 in-person hours (technical skill)

• 250 online hours (theory hours)

Day Class: Tuesday - Friday 10:00am to 4:00pm; Saturday 10:00am to 3:00pm.

Night Class: Tuesday - Friday 4:00pm to 7:30pm; Saturday 10:00am to 3:00pm.

REQUIREMENTS

(The Following items are due at your enrollment appointment.)

• Minimum enrollment deposit of $1,250. (Enrollment deposits are paid by cash, check, credit/debit card, or Venmo. Checks are written to The Barber Academy. Credit/debit card transactions will be charged a 3% transaction fee.)

• High School Diploma or G.E.D, or a Transcript indicating you completed 10th grade. If none of these can be provided, we will provide you with an assessment to determine your eligibility. (Diploma is not required at enrollment if you're still in high school.)

• Photo I.D.

• you need to know your social security number or your ITIN (Individual Tax Identification Number)

• You must be at least 16 years old. (If you are between 16 and 18 years old, you must have a parent/guardian present at your enrollment appointment.)
